cwitools.scripts.get_wl.get_wl(cube, var=None, wmask=None, out=None, log=None, silent=None)

Generate a White-light image from a data cube

Parameters:

• cube (str) – Path to input data cube FITS file
• var (str) – Path to associated variance cube. Variance is estimated if not given.
• wmask (list) – List of wavelength ranges to exclude from analysis images, provided as a list of float-like tuples e.g. [(4100,4200), (5100,5200)]
• out (str) – Output file name for the generated white-light image.
• log (str) – Path to log file to save output to.
• silent (bool) – Set to TRUE to suppress standard output.
